Protecting Public Health
Since his nomination, we have voiced concerns about RFK Jr. serving in the role as HHS Secretary.
Over 1,000 current and former HHS staff, the Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA), the APHA and six former US Surgeons General have called for RFK Jr’s resignation.
Congress failed to extend the Enhanced Premium Tax Credits (EPTCs), which expired 12/31. When Congress returns in January, the House will vote on a 3 year extension of the credits.
PA physicians and/or residents can contact their legislators to support the extension of ACA subsidies.
Physicians, healthcare workers, patients and families can record a video about the impact of cuts to Medicaid.
